Oil Prices Rise After A number Of Arab Countries Cut Off Relations With Qatar

Oil prices rose during Monday’s trading after a number of Arab countries announced their severing ties with Qatar.

Brent crude futures rose 0.7% to $ 50.30 a barrel, and the price of NYMEX crude futures rose to $ 48.05 a barrel by 0.8%.

Saudi Arabia, Emirates, Egypt, Bahrain and Libya have cut off diplomatic ties with Qatar after comments attributed to the Emir of Qatar angered some Arab leaders.
