Gold Prices Rise Due To Dollar’s Decline

Gold prices rose yesterday, after the dollar fell against other currencies, and the yellow  metal rose by 0.1% in spot transactions to 1249.79 dollars an ounce.

The US currency fell against a basket of six currencies to 95.685.

Gold in US futures contracts for delivery in August rose to $ 1249.70 an ounce.

Silver rose 0.1% to $ 16.86 an ounce, platinum rose 0.3% to $ 922.50 an ounce, and palladium rose 0.5% to $ 858.95 an ounce
