Oil Prices Rise Coincided With Iraq’s Tensions

Oil prices rose on Monday, and Brent crude futures rose by 1.3% to $ 57.89 a barrel, with tensions in the Kurdistan region of Iraq, according to a report published by Mubasher.

Nymex crude futures rose by 1.3% to $ 52.13 a barrel.

In a statement, the Iraqi Military Information Cell reported Monday that Iraqi forces had taken control of vital areas and installations during Security enforcement operation in Kirkuk.
