Arabian Auction has announced achieving a remarkable success on the first public auction of vanity car plate numbers, organized in the Bahraini capital of Manama on Thursday evening.

Arabian Auction, which was recently launched in Bahrain under the umbrella of Emirates Auction, the leading provider of public and electronic auction management and organization services across the Middle East, said that its first auction exceeded revenue expectations, reaching 1,752,000 Bahraini dinars after selling 40 special car plate numbers.

The company added that its first auction managed to attract a large audience, totaling around 1500 participants, amid a remarkable organization and a professional execution, in line with the highest international standards, mechanisms and disciplines in organizing and managing modern auctions.

His Excellency Abdulla Matar Al Mannaei, Chairman of Emirates Auction, said that the success of the auction organized and managed by Arabian Auction, presents a promising start for the company’s operations in Bahrain, especially that the Bahraini market enjoys excellent foundations and a good reputation, which encourages one to hold different activities, including public auctions.

Al Mannaei noted that Arabian Auction will work to activate the auction market in Bahrain, along with creating a secondary market for distinctive car plate number, meeting the demands of official parties and clients, and preserving the rights of those who love to buy vanity car plate numbers, and investors.

Al Mannaei also said that Arabian Auction will work on organizing a second auction in the coming period, which will be presented in a new format to achieve a higher success than the first auction, so the company can maintain its reputation and complete its regional and international expansion plan, after it solidified its presence in the UAE, the United Kingdom, Egypt, Qatar, and now in Bahrain.
