Oil Prices Rise Supported By A decline In Inventories

Oil prices rose at the close of trading on Wednesday, supported by a drop in US inventories. Brent crude for October delivery rose 1.2% to $ 52.40 a barrel. Nymex crude futures rose 0.9% to $ 49.59 a barrel.

The data released by the Energy Information Administration revealed that US oil inventories fell by 1.5 million barrels last week, and gasoline stocks fell by 2.5 million barrels during the same period.
